Poznań
Poznań is one of the oldest cities in Poland. It was one of the capital and religious centers of the Piast state and was the seat of Polish rulers. As befits a thousand-year-old city, Poznań has plenty of tourist attractions. Old Market Square
This main square in Poznań, located in the Old Town, is the third largest market in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. Currently, the Old Market Square is one of the main tourist attractions of the city. The album hosts annual events such as the National Festival of Good Taste, Midsummer Fair, Poznań Bethlehem and the International Ice Sculpture Festival.
Great Theater
Stanisław’s Moniuszko Opera Theater is located in Poznań at ul. Fredry 9. The building of the theater was built in 1910 according to the design of the Munich architect Max Littman. There is a vast green area around the Theater with rich, old trees.
Palm House
It was established in 1911 in the area of the then Botanical Garden. It consists of 12 pavilions with about 1100 species of plants and a complex of aquariums. The Poznań Palm House is the largest in Poland and one of the largest in Europe.
Cytadela Park
Covering an area of approximately 100 ha, it is the largest park in Poznań. There are numerous cemeteries, museums, fortresses, monuments, sculptures, bars and restaurants on its territory.
Poznań's Gate
A museum facility dedicated to presenting the history of Ostrów Tumski. The interactive museum is located in Śródka – connected to the Ostrów Tumski by a footbridge over the Cybina River.
Malta Lake
Malta in Poznań is mainly associated with the regatta track, walking and running routes, a year-round ski slope, a summer toboggan run and numerous cafes and restaurants.
